A space to transform the way adults see childhood
We believe education is an act of courage and presence. That is why we created this series of gatherings: so that, as adults, we can slow the pace, quiet the noise around us and listen to what childhood has to teach. Through shared experiences, contact with the earth and conversations that challenge us, we seek to give children back what is theirs by right - time, risk, free play and a deep connection with nature.
An invitation to everyone who believes in an approach to education that is more respectful of childhood

OUR FIRST GUEST
Frederico Lopes
Let’s start with what matters most: play
In this first gathering, we’ll explore how to bring play back to the heart of childhood.
What happens when we give children the time, space and freedom to play? And what do we, as adults, need to do differently?

A father, husband and Brinconauta - a play explorer - Frederico Lopes is a psychologist with a PhD in Human Kinetics, as well as a lecturer and researcher. He is the founder and president of IPA Portugal - the Portuguese Association for the Right to Play - and an advocate for creating spaces where children can play freely.
Together, we will consider play not as a break from learning, but as an essential part of childhood.
